Group Mentoring Challenges Exercise

🎯 Exercise Overview

All four groups will work on the same mentoring challenge scenarios but on a different policy brief. Each group will analyze the challenges, develop solutions, and prepare their approach. Groups will then pair up for discussion and sharing of strategies.

Required Reading Before the Workshop

To maximize your learning during the TOT workshop, please review the following materials before arrival:

  1. D2P Mentor Guide - Read in full to understand the mentorship role
  2. D2P Module Summaries - Familiarize yourself with all 20 modules
  3. 10 Steps to Developing a Policy Brief - Review the policy development process
  4. Policy Brief Checklist - Understand quality criteria for policy briefs
  5. Sample Policy Briefs - Review at least 2-3 examples

Note: These materials will be sent to you via email 2 weeks before the workshop. Please allocate 4-6 hours for pre-workshop reading.
