Visa Requirements

International participants should check visa requirements for Zambia well in advance. Most participants from African countries can obtain visa on arrival, but please verify requirements for your specific nationality.

Participants are responsible for arranging their own airport transfers. Taxis and ride-sharing services are available at the airport.

COVID-19 Protocols

We are committed to providing a safe environment for all participants. Current health protocols will be communicated closer to the workshop date based on prevailing guidelines.

Travel Health

Participants are advised to:

  • Consult with a travel health clinic before departure
  • Ensure routine vaccinations are up to date
  • Consider malaria prophylaxis (consult your healthcare provider)
  • Bring any regular medications in their original containers
  • Have adequate travel insurance

Participation Requirements

  • Attendance: Full attendance for all four days is mandatory
  • Punctuality: Please arrive 15 minutes before each session
  • Active Engagement: Participate in all exercises, discussions, and practice sessions
  • Pre-Work: Complete all pre-workshop reading assignments
  • Collaboration: Work constructively with colleagues from all countries
  • Feedback: Provide honest feedback through evaluation forms

Certificate of Completion

Participants who successfully complete the workshop and attend all sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion from the CDC Foundation.

All participants are expected to:

  • Treat all participants and facilitators with respect
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive discussions
  • Use mobile phones only during breaks
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment

Wi-Fi Access

Wi-Fi will be available throughout the venue. Network name and password will be provided on Day 1.

Printing and Materials

All training materials will be provided in electronic format. Limited printing facilities may be available if needed.
